Who controls your information

Whizguide Media Ltd (company number 08491317), 142 Turnberry Road, Birmingham, England, B42 2HT. Email: support@phvprep.com.

Whizguide Media Ltd is responsible for personal information used by PHVPrep. Contact us using the details above for privacy questions or to exercise your rights.

Information and purposes

We use your name, email, secure authentication records, optional exam date, account settings and consent records to create and secure your account. We use subscription, payment, refund and access records to provide the plan you choose and send service messages. These activities are necessary to provide our contract with you.

Stripe collects and stores payment details. PHVPrep uses Stripe identifiers and limited card details; our servers do not store your full card number or security code. Email and card eligibility markers help enforce one trial per person. Security logs and these checks support our legitimate interests in preventing fraud and keeping the service reliable. Accounting records are also used to meet legal obligations.

Learning features are still under development. This release does not collect completed mock results or practice progress. We will describe any additional processing when those features are introduced. We do not use this signup to enrol you in marketing.

Providers and locations

We use Supabase for authentication and the application database, Vercel for hosting, Stripe for payments, and Resend for transactional email. The production application database is in Ireland. Our providers may process service, security and support data in other countries under their contractual data-protection arrangements. Contact us for details of the applicable transfer safeguards.

Access is limited to authorised personnel and providers that need it for these purposes. We may share records with our accountant or authorities where necessary for accounting or legal duties. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and account deletion

We retain your account while you use it. A deletion request stops subscription renewal and removes the account within 30 days. When learning features are available, their history is retained for 12 months after access ends unless the account is deleted sooner. Accounting records held separately are kept for the period required by tax and legal obligations. Security and trial-abuse records are retained only as needed for fraud prevention, disputes and legal duties.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, subject to the applicable rules. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. An optional exam date can be removed from your profile. You can request account deletion in Account.

If you are concerned about our handling of your information, contact us. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Providing information needed for authentication and billing is necessary to use those services; the exam date is optional.

Cookies and decisions

We use necessary session cookies to keep you signed in and secure. Stripe uses payment and fraud-prevention technology during checkout. This release has no advertising or optional analytics cookies. Trial eligibility and payment status are checked automatically to determine billing and plan access. Contact us if you believe an eligibility or access decision is wrong.
